Sound Specialist

We are looking for an audio guru to join our team, provide a strong lead for the sound team and assist with providing our customers with high standards of sound reinforcement for their events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provision of advice and guidance on audio-related matters to staff and customers
  • Sound system design and specification
  • Preparation of quotations for jobs
  • Setup and operation of sound and related equipment for hires and events
  • Delivery and collection of equipment
  • Preparation of equipment for hires
  • Check-in of equipment from hire returns
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and testing
  • Assisting with installation projects

A full UK driving license is an essential requirement.

Salary : £22-£27k pro-rata + OT, dependent on experience.

Structures Specialist

Do you have a passion for building structures? We are looking for someone who lives for all things staging and truss to help us design and build the many various structures that our clients request from us.

You will have comprehensive knowledge of both staging and truss systems and understand the limitations of different systems and the relevant safety implications.

Note – we are not looking for a structural engineer here, just someone with real world experience of working with these systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provision of advice and guidance on staging and truss systems
  • Specification of stage or truss structures for specific events
  • Ensuring safety of all structures
  • Supervision of and construction of structures
  • Preparation of quotations for jobs
  • Delivery and collection of equipment
  • Preparation of equipment for hires
  • Check-in of equipment from hire returns
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and testing
  • Assisting with installation projects

A full UK driving license is an essential requirement.

Communication skills should be strong and attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and a ‘go the extra mile’ attitude are essential to the role.

All of these roles are full-time and will be based at our premises in Edinburgh. Normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. As is the norm for this industry, a certain degree of flexibility is required for this type of role including out-of-hours and weekend work.
