We are looking for a motivated and creative Sound Technician to join our in-house team at our rental and events company here in Edinburgh. The role will involve all things ‘sound’ including specifying and quoting jobs and systems, prep and maintenance of sound kit and work on-site as part of our event teams. You will also be expected to be involved with the other technical disciplines including lighting, staging and rigging – although not as a specialist. As such, knowledge in other technical areas would be an advantage.
The role will suit an individual with at least 2 years experience in the events industry and looking for a regular paying job rather than a freelance role. A good deal of the work will be in a warehouse/office environment – particularly during the quieter months – so may not suit a individual who wants to be out working on-site regularly. We also expect applicants to have high standards in technical knowledge, appearance, customer service and work ethic.
A full UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role.
